Department of International Development to give 160m pounds for education

LAHORE

 

THE Department of International Development (DFID), United Kingdom, has agreed to provide a sum of 160 million pounds as educational aid to Punjab government to promote education in the destitute strata during the next five years.

 

This was stated by Chairman of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) Raja Muhammad Anwar while addressing the District Coordination Meeting of PEF Partner Schools on Thursday.
