LAHORE, Sept 20: The Punjab School Education Department has ordered confiscation of Grade-VI science book being taught at a private school for having “obscene material”.
The department has issued orders on the basis of recommendations made by a special departmental committee, constituted on the instructions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, which reviewed the school syllabus.
It is learnt that the committee reviewed issues including removal of the subject of compulsory Islamic studies
