World book day to be celebrated on 23 April
Islamabad: The world book day will be celebrated on April 23, around the world including Pakistan with the aim to pay tributes to world fame books and their authors by holding conferences and seminars.
According to a private news channel, it was decided in Unesco's General Conference in 1995, to pay a worldwide tribute to books and authors on this date.
Its aim is to encourage everyone, and in particular young people, to discover the pleasure
