FDE Director Model Colleges, Tariq Masood told APP that the vacations, which started from December 24, would end on January 1 while the institutes would reopen from the next day.
He said the winter vacations were announced for the students due to the prevailing intense cold

TIMERGARA: The University of Malakand (UoM) on Thursday announced results of MA, M.Sc and LLB annual examinations.
According to a notification issued here, Asad Iqbal stood first by securing 794 marks in MA economics. The result remained 24.23 per cent. A total of 45 students appeared in MA economics previous, out of which 19 were declared successful and the result remained 29.23 per cent.
In LLB, Asal Zada got 1,388 marks and stood first. In MSc computer science previous, a total of 39

Body to hear grievances of Higher Education Commission staff
ISLAMABAD – The Chairman of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr. Javed Leghari on Thursday constituted a three-member committee to hear grievances of the HEC regular and contract employees.
The committee would pursue in the chair of vice-chancellor Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Dr. Masoom Yasinzai. The other two members are Rector National University of Modern Languages (NUML) Maj. Gen Masood-ul-Hassan and Vice Chancellor Air University Air Commodore Ijaz Malik.
