Bestseller "Fifty Shades of Grey" will hit Japanese bookshelves this week.
Its publisher hoped Tuesday to repeat the breathless success it has enjoyed around the world.
The novel, which features a sado-masochistic sexual relationship between a young college graduate and a billionaire tycoon, is expected to be a particular hit among Japanese housewives, the publisher said.

Rental power projects case: Turkish firm pays Rs1.6bn, allowed to leave
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau has allowed a Turkish ship-mounted power plant, Karkay, to leave the country after recovering Rs1.65 billion during investigation into the Rs22 billion rental power projects (RPPs) scam.
“Under a recent agreement between NAB and Karkay, we have received two pay orders amounting to Rs1.65 billion,” the bureau’s spokesman Zafar Iqbal told Dawn on Tuesday.

ISLAMABAD - A month long post-Hajj flights’ operation would start on Tuesday night to bring 180,000 Pakistani pilgrims back from Saudi Arabia.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: After a week-long campaign by the students of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), the university’s management finally rescheduled the final exams, allowing students from remote areas to celebrate Eid with their family members.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: One of the key reasons for high fertility ratio in Muslim countries is low education among people, especially women.
This was a consensus among speakers at the launching ceremony of a book titled ‘Population Dynamics in Muslim Countries: assembling the jigsaw,’ here on Wednesday.
