Most HIV-infected sex workers in Karachi, Larkana

<strong>KARACHI, March 29: Karachi and Larkana have the highest prevalence of HIV in female sex workers (FSWs), according to the findings of a recent survey by the National AIDS Control Programme.</strong>

Capital to have its first forensics lab in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) will have the capital’s first forensic laboratory, a senior official at the hospital said on Wednesday.

Gearing up for the ‘real’ exam from May 4

After the announcement by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold general elections on May 11, Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams under all boards of the province including Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) are expected to be postponed from May 4 to May 18.

Study reveals over 50 percent policewomen dissatisfied with job

PESHAWAR: Over 50 percent of policewomen are not happy with their job while 63 percent of the educated women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan don’t want to join the police force.
