Awareness drive against rabies urged
LAHORE (APP): Rabies, a fatal disease which causes around 70,000 deaths annually in the world, could be prevented through proper vaccination. This was stated by Prof Dr Athar Khan of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences while talking to APP here on Wednesday. Prof Dr Athar stressed the need to raise awareness of grave implications of human and animal rabies which could be prevented through careful measures.
