The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) received more than 1,300 child patients with gastrointestinal diseases during last four weeks. On the other hand, nearly 2,200 adult patients reached the hospital with gastroenteritis since March 1.
The number of both child and adult patients reaching PIMS with gastro is consistently on the rise which is alarming, said PIMS Deputy Director Dr. Wasim Ahmed Khwaja while talking to ‘The News’ on
