Regular screenings and vaccinations can prevent cervical cancer, said a professor at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on Thursday.
Dr Shereen Rehman Zulfiqar Bhutta, who heads the JPMC’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, was addressing a media awareness programme held at a hotel. She said 10 out of 100,000 women suffer from cervical cancer, which kills women in the prime of their lives.
