LAHORE: Government College University (GCU) Lahore’s 11th Convocation conferred degrees on 1,400 students including 57 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in science, arts and literature.
Out of the 27 positions of BA/BSc (Hons), 17 were grabbed by girls while boys were left with 10. Meanwhile, boys outshined in sports and co-curricular activities by taking 14 out of 20 rolls of honour. The convocation ceremony was held at GCU’s Oval Ground here on Thursday.
