ABBOTTABAD: In violation of service rules and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Code 2012, chief executive of the Ayub Medical Institution (AMI), Abbottabad Dr Ziaur Rehman has taken charge as principal of the Poonch Medical College, Azad Kashmir without relinquishing the charge of his present job.
Prof Dr Ziaur Rehman, head of Surgery Department at the Ayub Teaching Hospital, has also been serving as acting chief executive of the AMI since May 2011.
