Peshawar Academic passes away PESHAWAR Prof Dr Ikramullah Jan Qasmi of the Government College of Commerce and Director of the Islamic Research Centre passed away here Wednesday after protracted illness. He was 47.
His funeral prayer would be offered at 10 a.m. in Dheri Baghbanan near the residence of Maulana Mohammad Ameer, commonly known as Maulana Bijlighar.
He was among the last batch of Pakistani students who studied at the Darul Uloom Deoband in India.
