the dawn publish TAXILA, Sept 21st 2011 The development sector of the country is facing shortage of trained engineers and in order to address the problem, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) has devised a compressive strategy to meet the demand of the engineers in the public and private sectors.
Vice Chancellor UET Dr Mohammad Abbas Chaudhry said this while talking to newsmen here on Tuesday. He said that the university would pass out 25 PhD and 750 BSc engineers this year.
