17 awarded degrees The Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) of the University of Karachi (KU) has conferred one MS, 12 PhD and four MPhil degrees, the assistant registrar announced on Monday.
The MS degree was conferred on Roohi Zafar of the Department of Physics, while Dr Faiza Hassan, Shahana Wahid, Anila Naz Khan and Afshan Rafiq from the Department of Pharmacology were awarded MPhil degrees, he said.
