School bus accident kills 12 in China
BEIJING school bus overturned in eastern China on Monday killing 12 students, state media said, amid mounting pressure on Beijing to address bus safety after a series of fatal accidents.
The accident happened at approximately 6:00 pm in Jiangsu province, Xinhua news agency said, quoting a municipal government spokesman.
The school bus, belonging to the primary school of Zhanghoutun village, had been trying to avoid a vehicle when the accident
