Carrying an unfulfilled education dream to 2012
Around this time of the year, should we be content with just saying that yet another year slips by without any remarkable achievement on education front? True, the Punjab government has come up with a couple of high-sounding projects like Daanish schools and laptops for 100,000 students ostensibly to minimise the digital divide but precious little seems to have been done to ensure basic education for school-going children.
