Do not appoint a pro-JI VC at PU, ISO students demand
Lahore - A large number of Punjab University Shia students under the banner of Imamia Students Organisation (ISO) protested against the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) on Friday. The protesters demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif refrain from appointing a pro-Jamaat-e-Islami and pro-IJT vice chancellor in the PU, adding that it was a cause of security concern for hundreds of Shia students of the university.
