The group led by Dr. Eatzaz Ahmad and Dr. Muhammad Ishaq had a clean sweep in the annual elections of Academic Staff Association, Quaid-i-Azam University.
Dr Gulraiz Akhter, professor at the Earth Sciences Department from Eatzaz-Ishaq group, defeated Professor Khalid Khan from Physics Department by a margin of 57 votes. The Eatzaz-Ishaq group has been winning consecutively all seats in the last five elections. The turnout was 93 per cent. Out of 170 votes cast, Dr. Gulraiz got 116 votes,
