As students of Karachi University sat taking their final exams, their phones with the invigilator or tucked inside their bags, which were placed at a safe distance, the news of a bomb blast spread. Given the huge area of the campus, most departments did not even hear the sound of the blast, which occurred near the Sheikh Zayed Gate.
