HRCP concerned over student’s death
PESHAWAR The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) on Sunday expressed concern over the death of a seminary student who had gone missing from outside the Adiala Prison in Rawalpindi.

In a statement, HRCP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter Vice-Chairperson Sher Muhammad Khan said that the relatives of the deceased Tehseenullah told a visiting team of the commission that the deceased had been picked up by the security agencies in June 2008.

Media reports suggested that Tehseenullah, a resident of Cherat in Nowshera district, studied at a seminary in Akora Khattak. He had gone to Jehangira town where he went missing on January 8, 2009.
