PhD awarded
THE Punjab University has awarded a PhD degree to Asma Kulsoom, daughter of Abdul Hameed, in Arabic after approval of her research. Her thesis was “Women’s Contribution to Arabic Language and Literature in Pakistan.” According to a press release issued here on Friday, Asma Kulsoom has completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Mazhar Moeen, principal, Oriental College, University of the Punjab. —Correspondent the
