KARACHI, The Seventh Annual Karachi International Book Fair opened on Friday as a fair number of visitors began trickling into the Expo Centre on the opening day to catch a glimpse of the latest titles on offer.
Participants from across the country and a few foreign publishers had set up a total of 290 stalls in three halls of the Expo Centre, according to the Pakistan Publishers and Booksellers Association, organisers of the event in association with the National Book Foundation.
