RAWALPINDI - The first solo painting exhibition by young Sameera Khalid was inaugurated by Senator Najma Hameed at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Tuesday. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Senator Najma Hameed said Sameera Khalid was an asset to this region and her love for art would take her to the zenith of fame. She said the young generation was talented and the only need was to assist and patronise talented artists, adding the Rawalpindi Arts Council was utilising all its resources

Najma further said encouragement of the youth would turn Pakistan into a developed country. Rawalpindi Arts Council’s contribution to promoting art and culture of the region was unique, she remarked.
