Study on saving mothers, newborns
A new global consensus compiled in a study, Essential Interventions, talks about evidence-based interventions which would sharply reduce the number of women dying during pregnancy as well as the 7.6 million children who die before the age of five annually.
The research, designed for low and middle-income countries, elaborates on the allocation of limited resources for maximum impact on the health of women and children.
