Inter-departmental wrangling has endangered Indus Dolphin
The year-ending 2011 has witnessed a huge loss of the threatened Indus Dolphin (Platanista Minor) for various reasons, mostly because of the squabbling among the Sindh Wildlife Department (SWD) officials over transfers and postings.
