IHC moved against HEC devolution
Islamabad: The devolution of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) under the 18th Amendment has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
M Kokab Iqbal, making the federation and the cabinet secretary as respondents, filed a petition in the IHC on Wednesday challenging devolution of the HEC on three point controversies. He said that the HEC was created through an act of parliament and it was not a subordinate department of the Ministry of Education
