$250m US aid for HEC stopped
Islamabad: Under the government's decision of scheduled devolving of Higher Education Commission (HEC) to provinces, US has immediately put on hold 250 million dollar aid meant for foreign scholarships and research for Pakistani students.
Talking to a private news channel, Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Dr. Javaid Laghari said that a lady representative of USAID Monday held meeting with him and apprised of USAID's decision to hold on $250 million aid
