Seminar on Sufism calls for religious tolerance
“Sufism in South Asia has preached love, peace, tolerance and brotherhood without making any discrimination based on religion or sect. This is why, till today, the shrines of Sufi saints are an inspiration for people of all faiths.”

This was the view presented at a seminar on The Role of Sufism in Promoting Peace in South Asia’ organised by the Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (Piler) at the Piler Centre on Monday.

Syed Nazim Ali Nizami, Sajjadanasheen of the Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya shrine in Delhi, was the chief guest.
