The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Friday stopped the gas supply to the CNG filing stations from 9:00pm, 12 hours earlier than the scheduled closure, citing a sudden breakdown at the Bhit gas field.
Long queues of cars, rickshaws and buses were seen outside the CNG filing stations on Friday afternoon, occupying major portions of the roads on which CNG stations were located, causing immense traffic jams in the city.
