College principal who set an example denied office

When he was assaulted by political activists for refusing to allow students to cheat in their intermediate examinations on May 3, Waseem Adil, the principal of the Government National College, gained newfound respect in the eyes of Senior Education Minister Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, who said the teacher’s actions were “the only way to fight miscreants in the field of education.”

 

But just a few weeks later, the same person was not allowed to take charge as regional director colleges
