KARCHI - In a statement issued on Monday, prominent social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi said that the doctors’ strike in Punjab is against the ethics of the medical profession, adding that it is tantamount to playing with human lives.
Edhi said that a number of precious human lives have been lost due to the young doctors’ strike and closure of OPDs and other departments of government hospitals. He added that there was more live could be lost if the strike continued.
