Fafen wants Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) to assert itself in electoral expenses

Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen) has called for parliamentary approval of the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) electoral measures taken in the light of the fresh directives given by the Supreme Court in its verdict.

 

Fafen, a conglomerate of over two dozen NGOs, has observed here that the ECP measures would only be strengthened and institutionalised with a piece of legislation, particularly concerning the election expenses.
