LAHORE: Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared illegal the suspension and initiation of inquiry against Professor Dr Shahid Mahmood Rana of the Government College University (GCU), Faisalabad.
The judge observed that the appointing authority of the petitioner was the chancellor who alone had the powers to order inquiry and probe against the petitioner.
