Higher Education Commission (HEC) stops addl Rs1b for Multan edu institutes
ISLAMABAD – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) could not act upon the directive of the former Prime Minister to release Rs 1 billion additional funding for educational institutions of Multan, as former PM also could not fulfil his pledge to get released the remaining budget from the Finance Ministry.According to information, former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani had directed the HEC administration to release additional funds of Rs 1 billion for the educational institutes of Multan.
