Immediate induction of arts teachers demanded

RAWALPINDI: The strange policy of the Punjab Education Department has caused unease among teachers, as induction of arts subject teachers has been halted for the last few years. It was learnt that around 1,100 arts teachers’ posts are lying vacant in Rawalpindi district, and MA and MPhil candidates are without jobs, while science teachers are being inducted across the province, as well as in Rawalpindi.
