KARACHI, July 5: In an effort to promote voluntary blood donations, the Patients’ Welfare Association (PWA) of the Civil Hospital Karachi collected 67 bags of blood from students and faculty members during a special campaign on Thursday.
The 67 pints of blood collected will largely be transfused into the children registered with the Thalassaemia Day Care Centres managed by the PWA at the CHK. Three hundred and seventy-two children were registered with the day care centre for blood
