ISLAMABAD, July 10: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) has hailed the passage of the ‘Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act’ by the Senate and hoped that the provincial assemblies will initiate similar legislation for the out-of-school children in the country.
Unesco representative in Pakistan Dr Kozue Kay Nagata felicitated all the senators for approving the multi-party bill for the provision of free and compulsory education to all
