Eighteen Pakistani fishermen, released by India, reunited with their families at Edhi’s head office in Tower on Thursday. The jovial and celebratory occasion was marred by deeply imbedded sadness that the memories of their capture brought.
The fishermen, most of them from Thatta District, included four brothers and an 8-year-old boy Shah Meer. They were arrested from Shah Bandar eight months back.
