Islamabad: The Shifa College of Medicine has formally contacted the medical education watchdog for the transfer of its affiliation.
It has been learnt that Shifa Medical College Principal Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam has written to Pakistan Medical and Dental Council President Dr Sibitul Hasnain for disaffiliating his educational institution from the Bahria University and affiliating it to the newly-established Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University.
