LAHORE: A ceramics and pottery exhibition by Shehrezade Alam kicked off at Colours Art Gallery on Thursday. The ceramics painted by Shehrezade show the spirit of abundance and Alam’s engagement in the craft.
This spirit suggests the aesthetic immediacy in the visual impact of her brilliant ceramics and furthermore connects the artist to the highly dignified status of the potter in the aesthetic tradition of the Indian Sub-Continent.
