For the 771 students who received their graduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees at the 23rd convocation of the University of Karachi (KU) on Wednesday, there couldn’t have been a happier day.
Dressed in their best, adjusting their graduation caps and gowns now and then, they climbed the stage, one by one, and received their degrees from the vice chancellor (VC), Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser.
