After some delay, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) will resume liver transplants on February 7.
The PIMS Centre for Liver Diseases and Liver Transplant was closed in May last year following the death of the first recipient of liver transplant a few days after he went under the knife.
According to an official of the hospital, seasoned surgeon, Dr. Tariq Ali Bangash, who has to his credit the country’s first deceased donor liver transplant, heads the centre,
