Karachi: A three-day course on sanitation standards, good manufacturing practices (GMPS) and hazard analysis critical point programmes (HACCP) is being organised at the University of Karachi on August 6.
This was announced by KU Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Shahana Urooj Kazmi on Thursday.
The classes would be held in the Latif Ebrahim Jamal Auditorium of Karachi University between 9am and 1pm.The KU official said that the course was being held under the auspices of the Pakistan Society for Microbiology and the University of Karachi.
The aim of the course was to train instructors, food safety and quality control officers for a better future of agriculture and food safety standards in order to help meet the WTO and international trade standards. app?
