Karachi: Proud of their impressive achievement, the vice chancellor of Karachi University (KU) congratulated the chairman, the faculty and the students of the KU's Business School on receiving the 'Innovation Leadership Award' at the Asia's Best Business School Awards ceremony held at the Suntec Convention Hall in Singapore.
The winner of the award was announced by the World Educational Council and CMO Asia in collaboration with the CMO Council. Given that he was the nominee for this award, KUBS Chairman Dr Abdul Rahman Zaki received the accolade from the council's chief organiser and Chairman Andrew Kelly. Zaki dedicated the award to Vice Chancellor KU Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim, adding that it was due to his support and encouragement that KUBS won this award.
"The foundations of this school were laid on very meager resources but the revolutionary leadership of the vice chancellor took it to such heights that it was now ranked among the best business schools in the world," he said.
