LAHORE:02 August:Addressing a press conference on Monday, BISE Lahore Chairman Prof Dr Akram Kashmiri, flanked by Controller of Exam Prof Manzur-ul-Hassan Niazi, disclosed the names of position-holders of BISE Lahore’s Matric 2011 exams. An overview of the results showed that girls outshined boys as overall top three positions were achieved by them. It is also noted that no government school could secure any position among the top three positions.
According to details, Larabe Farrukh (Roll No 744499) of Kips High School for Girls, Johar Town, grabbed the overall first position by securing 1,022 marks out of total 1,050 while Saman Habib (Roll No 751497) of LDA Model Girls High School, Allama Iqbal Town, got the second position by securing 1021 marks.
The third position was shared by two candidates, Taimoor Jaffar Ali (Roll No 776018) of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School for Boys, Shadman, and Arfa Tahir (Roll No 744580) of Divisional Public Higher Secondary School for Girls, Model Town, who both secured 1,020 marks.
The Science Group toppers (Boys) are Taimoor Jaffar Ali first, Muhammad Faizyab Ali Chaudhry (Roll No 775905) second with 1,019 marks and Muhammad Fareed Khalid (Roll No 741138) third with 1,018 marks. The toppers of Science Group (Girls) are Larabe Farrukh first, Saman Habib second and Arfa Tahir third.
The high achievers in Humanities Group (Boys) are Abdul Rehman (Roll No 101243) first with 946 marks, Usman Sadiq (Roll No 101587) second with 938 marks and Muhammad Saif (Roll No 101556) third with 931 marks.
The toppers in Humanities Group (Girls) are Bushra Shafiq (Roll No 120409) first with 980 marks and Fatima Ashraf (Roll No 132297) second with 977 marks while the third position was shared by Rabia Shehzad (Roll No 131954) and Sumaira Zia (Roll No 134170) with 975 marks each.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is for the first time that BISE authorities have shared details of position-holders before the official announcement of results.The News
