Karachi: 12 Aug: NED University has announced that Independenc Day will be celebrated in the University on Sunday the 14th August 2011. All faculty members and other staff are invited to be present in the Central Library Lawn and join National Independence Day Celebration including hoisting of National Flag by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khan Pathan, Dean, Faculty of Information, Sciences and Humanities (ISH) at 7:55 (sharp) on the date.
However, due to Ramadan the occasion will be celebrated with simplicity.
