LAHORE: A poetry book, titled ‘Guldasta-e-Traffic’ (traffic bouquet) by Nazer Bhander has been published with the aim to spread awareness on traffic issues in the city.
Speaking on the book’s launch ceremony, renowned tourist and author of many books Maqssod Ahmad Chughtai said that the main purpose of the book was to create awareness about traffic sense in order to avoid road accidents, road blockages and traffic mess on the city roads.
He said that the book would benefit teenagers, elders and people belonging to all walks of because since the mode of its expression had been chosen wisely and was an impressive one. Chughati said that poetry is a sensitive way of communicating a message to the target audience and ‘Guldasta-e-Traffic’ was to fulfil this very purpose.
