School and college timings in Ramazan

Karachi: Sindh's Education Department on Monday announced the timings for public sector educational institutions during the month of Ramazan.

Primary schools would function from 7:30am to 11:30am accept for Friday's when children will be relieved of their lessons at 11am. With respect to those primary schools which operate double shifts these institutions would run from 7:30am to 11:15am and 11:30am to 02:30pm. On Friday, these schools would offer lessons between 7:30am to 10:30am during the first shift and 10:45am to 1pm during the second shift. Secondary schools which operate within a single shift would share the same timings as single shit primary schools mentioned above. Double shifts secondary establishments would have the same timings as their primary counterpart aforementioned earlier, including the Friday timings. Public colleges will begin their morning shifts at 9am up till noon from Monday to Saturday while their evening shifts would operate between 2:30pm and 5pm.
