Schools and colleges reopen today

KARACHI, Aug 1 : All public and private schools and colleges across Sindh reopen on Monday (Aug 1) after a two-month summer vacation.

Sources in the education department said that there would be slight changes in the timings of educational institutions during Ramazan.

Earlier, the education department’s steering committee had decided to hold the summer vacation from July 1 to Aug 31 instead of June 1 to July 31. However, the Sindh chief minister turned down the committee’s proposal, and declared that the schedule of the summer vacation would remain unchanged.Dawn.
