Karachi:Secretary Education Sindh Mohammad Siddique Memon has said that the Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) is a premier institution of the province and this is why the provincial government is interested in the restoration of its past glory by giving priority to its quality education and solving its problems.
Memon said this while addressing the faculty and staff members and students of the SMI College at Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto Auditorium during his visit to the institution on Monday.
The Education Department and the government was also fully committed to raising its status to the university level, because the alma mater of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah deserved such status, he told the participants.
The education secretary said, “The teachers of SMI College are imparting quality education to their younger generation, but we must have to improve it with the passage of time.”The news.
